Woohoo! Yes, earthquakes are exciting, an event in earth's history that can be pin-pointed to a singular moment. Sure, in the grand scheme of the planets ~4.5 billion years, an earthquake is like trying to find Bob's Road on a world mapm, but they sure are exciting. Plus, you get fun data, like Tensor beach balls. Ohh beach balls how I love thee.
This video made my day! Although, the ship blown should have been the NC-1701 and not NC-1701-D because of the reference to Kirk. Still...VIVA LA TARDIS!
In college, around 9PM the dinning hall would open for what every student fondly called M&C's(milk and cookies). Sure enough students would flock to the kitchen carrying their mugs to collect their nightly pick me up and a quick study break which usually turned into a very long study break. Thursday nights were the craziest, as most of the dorm collectively ransacked the kitchen during a commerical break of NBC's Must See TV. Sure the cookies were good (especially Chef Jeff cookies) but, it was really a time to talk, laugh, rant, and bond with your fellow dorm mates. Conversations flew, from how was your day to which professor you hate the most, to heated debates of the current politics. So, I dedicate this blog to M&C's where everything is relative ... or it is Newtonian.
