Vacation was lovely... I have been back since Monday, actually, but I've spent the entire week just keeping up with work and all the rest.
We took a cruise on the Norwegian Pearl, departing from Miami and visiting Dominica, Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados and Tortola. I have to say one of my favorite parts about being on a cruise is one's ability to temporarily give up all responsibility for anything important. The biggest concern is what time the next meal is being given, and if I don't want to wait I can always call upon one of the food choices that's available 24-hours a day.
Even the window-washing machine is automated.
Although I should give credit to the crew on that one, as I wouldn't have to be doing that anyway.
So no internet, no email, no work, no worries. Just a stack of five novels I had ordered from Amazon for the trip, my husband, and my camera.
We left from Miami on April 13 and after two days at sea arrived in Roseau, Dominica.
